Adopt a Chihuahua (short coat)

Chihuahua (short coat) Dog

Quinn the Dog needs a home

Are you interested in fostering a dog prior to deciding on adoption?

Meet our little diva, Quinn. She is a gorgeous white chihuahua with a brown patch over one eye and a beautiful blue eye on the other side. She found herself impounded at an animal shelter. Being the little lady that she is, she was simply mortified at her living conditions. Concrete floor, sharing a bed with others, etc.

Quinn is about a year old and weighs 9 pounds.

She was quite popular. Quite a few people wanted to adopt her, but she just didn't act interested. She was pretty scared. So, a shelter employee took her home to foster as she could see the little sweetheart behind the fear. Sure enough, Quinn became a happy affectionate dog within a day.

At the shelter employee's request, we took Quinn into rescue. She has been a joy to foster every day. She welcomes her foster mom's attention and as you can see, feels right at home on the furniture! Curled up next to you is a great place to be!

Quinn also is very dog social. She has several playmates and does well with them.

She has met cats and is about as uninterested in them as they are in her.

We have not had her around children, but feel that kids of at least teenage should be fine.
